What is it? SkillsFest includes a 4v4 Dutch Style Soccer Tournament along with numerous skill stations where players can compete for prizes after the tournament.
When is it? One day only!. Saturday, August 20th 2011. 5pm to about 9pm. (Under the Lights!)
Where is it? Sandymount Park. Finksburg, Maryland.
Who can participate? Boys and Girls age 7 through 13. Players can register individually - you don't to be on a team. Coaches are also encouraged to have their team register.
How much is it? Only $10 per player!
How do I register? Registration is now closed.
When does Registration End? The registration deadline is Sunday, August 14th. Spaces are limited.
Will there be concessions? Yes! Grilled Hamburgers & Hot Dogs, Soda and snacks and more will be for sale at the Concession Stand.
Anything Else? Yes! We will have music and Sandymount Park has tennis courts and a playground that can be used by parents and siblings during the tournament!

What is a Dutch Style 4v4 Tournament?
Players will play 5 eight minute matches. After each match, all players on the winning team will receive 3 points plus one point for each goal scored by their team. The losing team will receive one point for each goal they scored. If a match ends in a draw, everyone on both teams receives one point plus one point for each goal scored.

Players are randomly assigned to a team for each match. At the end of five matches the male and female in each age group with the most points will receive an award.
