| About Us |
| Objectives: |
- to form the best 1998-1999 boys premier and classic teams in Carroll County
- to compete in leagues and tournaments at the
highest level possible where the boys can find success
- and perhaps the most important one of all which is to have fun :)
|
| Goals: |
| We have experienced and licensed coaches that are also familiar with the college
recruitment process. Our goals include teaching skills and tactics that will
prepare players to play at the high school and college level.

| History: |
In May 2010 a group from Westminster Soccer Association
decided to merge with another group from the Central Carroll Soccer Club to
form two u12 C.C. United boys teams. The coaches adopted the following philosophy
for this new beginning:
- To build for the future the coaches took a long-term approach.
Thinking it would pay dividends a year later at u13, the coaches
decided against forming a premier and classic team with each coach going
separate ways and training on their own. Instead they
formed two balanced teams for the u12 fall and
spring seasons. Both teams, C.C. United Blue and C.C. United White,
trained together so all players could be taught the same
skills and tactics as well as learn from each other.
- The coaches stressed that this first year together at u12 (fall and spring)
would focus on player development rather than merely wins and losses.
Another local club, FC Frederick, has had great success using this
development model producing 28 ODP players in 2011. With the improvements
our players have made since May 2010 we believe this approach has also served us well.

| Facilities: |
|
We train and play at Sandymount Park and Deer Park fields in Finksburg, Maryland.
Each facility has lighted fields which enable us to train late into the fall season.

| Season: |
|
C.C. United teams will play in the BBSL and/or CMSA Leagues during the fall and spring
seasons. Teams will do at least two tournaments per season. During January and February
most players compete in an indoor soccer league as well as participate in weekly
futsal training sessions. During the summer months many attend
a team camp and/or go to Ocean City's Beach Soccer Tournament.
